Override Dims on Drag/Move

- [Instructor] By default when working in SolidWorks, if you add a dimension to any entity and then go to drag or move that entity after the fact, it maintains that dimension. So you can see as I drag this line around, it's still trying to maintain that three-inch point 29 dimension. Same with this line and its angle. If I go to rotate this or slide it, it's going to maintain that angle and that dimension. Same with this arc, if I drag it out, it's not going to do anything, it's actually not even moving. I can grab its center point and move it, but I can't drag the exterior and change its dimension. Same with these two lines that are dimension to each other. I can grab them and drag them together, but their dimension stays the same. Now, if I go to Tools, Sketch Settings, and Override Dims on Drag/Move, what this gives me the ability to do is maintain those dimensions, but adjust them as I drag these features. So I'm going to turn that on, go up here, and just start dragging this…
