- [Instructor] Creating custom P&ID and schematic drawings inside of SolidWorks can be a breeze when you leverage all of the tools that we've talked about and bring it all together at once. The first thing we want to do, is create a custom block library. SolidWorks, gives you the ability to download several electrical and hardware block components already. I just went ahead and downloaded these through their SolidWorks content. If you expand that and go to Blocks, you'll see Electrical and Hydraulics, simply hold down Ctrl, and you can download these zips. Once you have downloaded them, go to the annotations area inside of your design library, right-click and say, Open Folder and drop all of that information inside of this location. You can even create custom folders for yourself that are company specific. Once you're done editing and uploading all those blocks simply refresh your design library. And, now, you'll see…
