Pack and Go overview: Copy

- [Instructor] In the next few videos we're gonna run through the different ways that you can use Pack and Go to actually create a copy of your assembly and move it to a different location. You can also create a newer version as a way I'm gonna put it or create a zip file that you can hand off or load up to Box or Dropbox or put on a flash drive to hand off to someone. So, let's start by just doing a quick overview of the Pack and Go itself. If you go to File and Pack and Go from inside an assembly, or from Windows Explorer you can navigate to the assembly that you wanna edit and simply right click on it, go to SOLIDWORKS, Pack and Go. So, those are the two ways that you can get to the Pack and Go option. I typically do it from inside of SOLIDWORKS because that way you're sure to grab everything, it's loaded in your local cache, you've got it all set from lightweight to resolved, so everything's loaded and everything will be getting transferred with it to its new location.
