Patterns
- [Instructor] Sometimes it could be advantageous to use the pattern features inside of your sketch instead of using the feature pattern after the fact to create cuts in something or if you're trying to make a mesh- for example - like material or any other kind of pattern. Let's run through the two patterns that are available to us in Sketch. So, here we've got Linear Sketch Pattern. If I click on the dropdown we've also got Circular Sketch Pattern. If we hover over this for a moment, I'm just going to dropdown and come back, we can see that it says it adds a linear pattern of a sketch entity, pretty simple. I'm going to click on that, and you can see here in our property manager that we've got a bunch of options. Basically, what it wants is your x and y changes, so what distance and how many times you want to pattern your object, and if you want to do it at an angle.
