- [Instructor] In this movie, I'm going to show you how…to save this library profile out to a folder on…your file system, and create the path inside…of Solidworks so when you create a weldment it knows where…to find this profile.…So in the last movie, we actually created this profile here,…and we did save it as a library feature.…However, Solidworks doesn't really know where…those features are in this case, so let's go ahead…and do that one more time.…So, first things first, let's go ahead…and save this library feature out.…So, I have a part here, and I have this sketch here,…so the key is choosing the sketch, coming up to your…two file, come down to Save As, and instead of…a regular part, I want to save it as a library…feature part.…
Now, as soon as I do that, it automatically…puts me in the design library, and actually prefer…to not save it there.…I want to save it into my Exercise Files folder.…Now, I'm going to be using the same profile multiple times…throughout this course, so I don't want to save it…directly into one of the Chapter folders.…
