Plane mates

- [Voiceover] Using plane to plane mates inside of Solidworks is one of the most powerful ways to mate two items together. It does take a little bit more effort, but it's definitely worth your while. The first thing I wanna do is show the planes. Notice each assembly has three fundamental planes built into it, and then each part themselves also has three different planes shown as well. And I can click and show any one of these planes I'd like by clicking on it and clicking on this little eye, or click on Show. Now, it didn't show up, so what do I have to do? So go up here and click on the eye here, or the visibility, and click on Planes. So now we're viewing the planes that we have turned on. Only the planes that we have shown are gonna show up, so if you wanna see other planes you can go over here and click on them. And in this case here, I wanna go down to the second part and go over here to the Front Plane, let's go ahead and show that. And come down here, the Top Plane we didn't…
