- [Instructor] When you want to project a curve from a sketch that you've already created onto another surface, you're going to use the projection curve feature. It's pretty straightforward. And in this example, we're going to take an existing sketch and project it down onto a surface extrusion that I've already created. So here we've got our sketch and you'll notice it's above the surface, not touching it. I'm going to go up to the Insert tab, down to Curve, and hit Projected. For this option, we're using the sketch on faces. So first, I'm going to select that sketch. And second, I'm going to select the face to project it on to. Notice that the arrow here indicates that it's going to project upward. We want to reverse that and you can do that by clicking on the arrow right here or selecting the checkbox right here.
