Question 1: Creating a weldment profile
- [Instructor] Question number one of the sample exam asks us to create a profile and then create a Weldment from that. If you look at this one here here is the first example image showing us the side of this Weldment Profile, so it's a five millimeter radius on the corners and we have an A and B dimension here and then we have to download this little file here and create a simple Weldment from that. So pretty straightforward and easy. Again, it's going to be a 10 16 alloy and the A and the B are going to be 60 and 90, let's jump over to SOLIDWORKS and see what we can do. Start on a new part. Notice I already have a template that's a 1060 aluminum in the millimeter system, so I'm going to start with that one right there. If you don't have the templates already loaded I'd definitely recommend loading the sample templates that I give you, because a lot of parts we'll be using that 1060 aluminum or steel and the millimeter, gram, and second unit system.
