- [Instructor] For question number three,…of the sample exam, they're asking us to use…the sketch we created in question number two,…and go ahead and create this part right here.…So, we're basically taking that profile…that we created originally, and just basically…creating a weldment from there.…Keep in mind we are going to be using…the butt-type connections.…You can see here, in this corner here and…this corner here, what that's going to look like.…We need to be using the 10-60 aluminum alloy,…and we want to be using the center of the R segment.…Let's go ahead and jump over to Solid Works and create that.…
So, first things first, let's go over here to weldments.…Create a new weldment, start a structural member.…Down here, notice we have that SE1 profile that we created.…The profile you created might not be named…exactly the same thing, but whatever you named the…profile you created in question number one…is what we need to be using.…Go ahead and choose one of these edges here,…and just go ahead and bring that right around…
