From the course: Modeling a Bicycle Frame with SOLIDWORKS 2014

Requirements

- Before we get started, please note that this SolidWorks Modeling series is for advanced users. I will assume you are comfortable with most of the commands found on the Features tab as well as being well acquainted with using the Reference Geometry commands. Being familiar with all the default Sketch commands will also be assumed. Since this series will predominantly be using Surfacing commands and particularly the complex Surfacing commands, you should already be comfortable using Extruded, Revolved, Swept and Planar Surface commands, along with the Trim and Knit Surface commands. I will, however, cover the requirements in detail for the commands we will use and strive to model at a pace that if you are an intermediate user and depending on your skill level, you maybe able to follow along as we go. But since the benefit of video training allows us to go back and or pause to keep or catch up, you may have to do that at times, when necessary. Finally, where I consider sketching functions to be basic, I will provide the completed sketches so we can focus on doing the more advanced sketching and featuring together.
