- [Instructor] Another neat thing that Solidworks 2018 added was the ability to mouse over an individual file like a drawing, an assembly, or a part, and it'll actually tell you how long it took you to open that file last time, who created it, as well as revision. Go ahead and just kind of mouse over the name here, and you should have a little pop-up window that pops up here. Now, once that little window pops up, it does tell us it's a Solidworks drawing document. It was last saved by me. It's in revision B. Got one active sheet. Tells exactly the size of the document, and tells you exactly how long it took to open that document, which is really handy, especially if you've got a really big document, you might not want to be opening it if it took minutes or hours to open. Sometimes people have these massive assemblies, and they really take a long time. So before you open something really large, you might want to take a look at that head's up display and see how long it's going to take.…
