Save an assembly as a part

- If you're ever working with a complex Assembly and you want a reference Part of that Assembly, SOLIDWORKS give the ability to save an Assembly back to a individual Part file. Now with SOLIDWORKS 2019, we actually have improved that feature and we have the ability to include or exclude individual Parts from my final saved out Part. Let me show you how it works. Over here, on any one of these Parts I can click on it and I can come over here to Component Properties. And now over here, you can see we've got this Save assembly as part dialogue box here and I can click on Use system settings, Always include, or Always exclude. So if I'm going to be exporting this thing as a Part and I don't want these pins included in this I can just go ahead and just exclude them out. Go ahead and click on OK and now that Part will not be saved. Now when your ready to save this Assembly as a Part, come up to File, come down to Save As, and by default this is tryin' to save this as an Assembly, right?…
