Saving to DXF or DWG

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'm going to be showing you how to save out your sheet metal flat pattern to a DWG or a DXF file that can be imported into a laser cutter, a water jet, or pretty much any type of blinking operation. So on page one I've got a couple different views and on page two I have the flat pattern. Now I want to make sure my flat pattern is a one to one scale and that's very important. So click on the flat pattern itself, come down here, and make sure it says, as far as scale, use sheet scale and it says one to one. You can also verify that by right clicking on the sheet itself, come over here to properties and make sure that scale says one to one and also make sure that our sheet size is actually bigger than the part itself or the flat pattern itself. Once that looks okay, just hit cancel because we didn't make any modifications. Now before we save this out, we also might want to remove some of these center marks, lines, and bend notes.
