- [Instructor] Hey guys, today's tip is the scan to 3D curve wizard. Now this is a tool that's been around for a while but you might not know about it and I want to show you a couple of the cool things this tool can do especially for working with imported mesh files. So right here I've got an imported pulley. You can see it's a mesh file right there and notice the front plane and the top plane, the right plane, they're kind of in odd places. They're not really cutting this model in half. And if you do scan in some data you might have your planes all over the place so you might need to do something to correct that. And that's what I've done exactly right here. I've actually just created a sketch right here on the top plane. And I just drew a line across the top here. Here's my line and I created a plane from that so that plane's going to be slicing my model in half so I can get a nice section view of what's going on. And…
