Selecting facets using Paint Select

- [Instructor] When trying to select different parts or different facets of a surface mesh body or a solid mesh body inside of SolidWorks, it's sometimes a good idea to use the paint select feature. So how we get to this is you right-click on your mesh body, go to selection tools, and go to paint select facets. So you can see that I've got a little circle that shows up and that's the area in which it's going to select the facets when I hold down my mouse button. So I'm going to hold down the left mouse button and just start dragging it along and you can see it selects all of those facets as I go along. If I hit the green okay checkbox, you can see that I've selected all of those facets and then I can grab whatever feature I want, delete them, do whatever I'm going to do in that operation after selecting them. If I want to deselect, I just hit escape. Again, we right-click, selection tools, paint select faces, and then just hold down your left mouse button and drag along the areas that…
