Setting up defined views

- [Instructor] When working with any SolidWorks part, there are usually a set of features which we are particularly interested in. It's very convenient to have a set of corresponding views which will allow us to snap quickly to those features. In this video, we'll set up three such views: a general view, a view of the con rod big end, and a view of the con rod little end. Hover over the view orientation icon, click the dropdown, and click New View. The first view we're going to create, we're going to name as standard, click Okay. Now let's manipulate the model until our view of the big end is shown. So this looks good; let's click on here, select New View, and the name will be big end. Click Okay. Now let's choose a view which focuses on the little end. That looks good, so go back to our icon, check New View; and we'll call this little end. Click okay; now we can hit the space bar to invoke the orientation menu. We can switch between the saved view. So at the moment we're in little…
