Setting user and group permissions

- [Instructor] Now that we've created our users and groups inside of SOLIDWORKS PDM's administration tool, it's time to go in and adjust all of the settings for the groups and users. Pretty easy to do. I'm already logged in to my vault as you can see. I'm going to go down to Groups first and just double click on the group that I want to edit. So I'm going to double click on Engineering, and you see the Properties pop up. To handle permissions, we're just basically going to go to these four sections right here. So you have Administrative Permissions, so you can adjust all of those here. And you don't want to just toggle all of them on or all of them off to give people permissions 'cause you have things like Refuse login down here as well in case you want to block somebody out. Say somebody leaves your company, they access your web server remotely or through VPN, and they access your vault, you might want to refuse their login on a certain day.
