- [Instructor] Now we're going to continue on from the previous video. We're going to set up loads and band conditions and run the analysis. This is for the mesh created from this surface body. So want to right mouse click on fixtures and choose fixed geometry, and pick the left-hand edge here and we need to choose advanced. Reference geometry will be the front plane, and I want to pick along direction one. In other words, x, normal to the plane, in other words said. I want to pick rotation about direction two, which is rotation about the y-axis. Check okay. Right mouse , click on fixtures again. Fixed geometry again. This time I'm going to pick the corner vertex here and choose advanced. And I'm going to use front plane as my reference. This time all I want to do is stop the trans-section on direction two, which is the y direction. Check okay. This sets up a minimum constraint set to allow the plate to stretch laterally when stretched. In other words it can exhibit Poisson's ratio…
