Sketch-driven component patterns

- [Instructor] For this tip, let's go ahead and talk about sketch driven component patterns. Now you can see here I've got this block opened up and on top of that block is a bunch of sketch points. Now you can use a sketch from an individual part, or from the actual assembly. So over here I've got a sketch showing three points right up here that are part of the assembly itself. And I also have this block, and if I open up that block, you can see that I've got this sketch here with these points directly on top of it. So either one of those will work. They head back over here to the assembly. I'm going to go ahead and use this little cone here, and place that on a component pattern. So come up here under assembly, linear component pattern directly below that it's going to be the dropdown, and come down here to sketch driven component pattern. Click on that one.
