- [Instructor] For this video we're going to take a look at the sketching slot features. So if we go up here to our command ribbon, we can see that we have the slot features. We have Straight Slot, Centerpoint Straight Slot, 3 Point Arc Slot, and Centerpoint Arc Slot. Now none of these is necessarily the correct way to use the slot feature in sketching. It's really going to depend on what you're using to reference the geometry and how you want to be able to change it in the future. So let's go ahead and hit Sketch. We're going to start a new sketch on the front plane here and do some of these features. I'm going to start with the Straight Slot and make a couple of them. So, first I'm going to make a vertical one. I pick my starting point, which is going to be the center point of one of the arcs, extend out with my construction line that gives me the other center point when I click of the center arc and then I drag out to define the diameter of the arc.
