Starting an assembly
- [Speaker] Once you've designed several parts inside of SolidWorks, the next logical step would be to assemble these parts together. To start an assembly, we're going to need to open up a few different parts to put into that assembly and right now I have one of these parts opened up. Let's go ahead and open a few more, so go over here to file, open, and you can see here I'm in chapter 11, 11 underscore oh one, and right now I have that first part open. I also want to open this part here, this part here, this part here. Let's go ahead and select all those by holding the control, click on open. Alright, once you've done that you can go to window, tile horizontally, and then you can see all the open documents. This one here was minimized, so let's go ahead and make that one a little bit bigger, and try it one more time, so tile horizontally. Now you can see all the individual components we're going to be using to create that assembly. Now you want to start with a base part, that then…
