Tricks for saving parts for 3D printing

- [Instructor] For this tip, let's talk about design rules for 3D printing. Now there's a website called 3D Hubs, which is a printing service, and they've got a pretty nice design guide here, which we're looking at on the screen. Now right over here, you can see all the issues with different types of geometry that you might be creating, so it might be supported walls or unsupported walls, or overhangs. It's saying hey, if you have an overhang, it should be greater or less than 45 degrees, so if it's too flat, it's not going to work, right? I'm going to have to create some support below that, but if it's a pretty vertical wall, it might work, right, so it's saying anything above 45 degrees will work. Same thing down here, like support always required for these type of overhangs. That's something you need to design your part correctly for 3D printing, or modify it, right? A couple other things over here as far as the embossing, horizontal bridges, holes, connecting and moving parts…
