- [Instructor] A lot of times, when we're getting ready to create a complicated surface, we need to cut a hole in another surface, or delete a face, or something like that, so we can actually start creating that new surface and use those edges. So a very simple and easy way to create a hole in another surface is to use the Trim Surface Tool. So let me show you how that works. Right down here, I've got sketch number two down here, which is below a surface, and I want to use that sketch to cut a hole in this surface right up here. So a very easy tool to use is just Surfaces, come over here and say Trim Surface. I'm using this sketch number two as my trim tool, right, and here's my surface, and I want to either keep a selection or remove it. I want to remove it, so notice as I kind of mouse over here, I can click on either one of these. Click there, and it's going to be removing that section. Go ahead and click on Okay, and just…
