Use extrudes to create the main enclosure shape
- [Instructor] Open your saved SOLIDWORKS assembly, and it should look something like this. We've got the PCB part in the middle here, and then we've got that new Enclosure Parent part that we added, and that just has a single sketch that's four millimeters larger than the PCB all the way around. At the moment, we're just in the top level assembly, we're not editing any parts, and you can tell this because we don't have the Edit icon in the top right here. So we're going to edit that Enclosure Parent part. To do this, let's left-click on it in the parts tree on the left here, and then select the fourth option, which is Edit Part. And if you're using a much older version of SOLIDWORKS, you might have to right-click to get this option. So let's edit that part. And now you can see the parts that aren't being edited, so in this case, the PCB model, they have turned to this wireframe view. And up here on the right we've got this…
