Using Mirror Symmetry

- [Instructor] In this video, I'm gonna be showing you how to use the mirror command to mirror individual features, as well as individual bodies. So the first thing I wanna do is, notice over here, I've got this phalange down here. And I'd like to mirror that phalange up to the top surface here. So to do that, we need a plane. Now notice there's no plane right there in the middle. So we need to create one. So let's go over to features, reference geometry, and choose a plane. And my first reference is gonna be this bottom edge right here. So click on that edge right there. And my second reference is gonna be the top edge. And as I'm choosing those two, and it puts a plane right between there. So no matter how big that phalange gets, that plane will always be right in the middle. Click OK. That's what we're gonna use to mirror this thing. So now go over to features mirror. Click on that one. And my feature to mirror, I can choose from here if I'd like to, or you can come over here and…
