Using the Toolbox
- [Instructor] SOLIDWORKS Toolbox is a preloaded library inside of SOLIDWORKS that has literally thousands of different styles and types of hardware. To use the toolbox, we need to create an assembly. So I have a part here, I'm going to go ahead up to file, and say make assembly from part. Go ahead and add in that first part, and now let's go ahead and use the toolbox. Now the toolbox is located under the library over here on the right hand side of the screen. So you can see here is the basic toolbox library, if you haven't used it before, you might get a little icon that pops up over here that says add in toolbox. As soon as you add that in, it will show you exactly what you see here. So these are all the different styles of fasteners we can use, and inside like ANSI Inch, you can see here we've got all these different folders with a different things that we can bring in.
