Using the Toolbox
- [Instructor] In this example, we're going to be working with the Solid Works Toolbox. Now, toolbox is a preloaded library that has thousands of fasteners that makes it really easy to use them just by dragging and dropping them into an assembly. So before we start doing that, we do need to create an assembly. So, over here, let's click on this part here, and say make assembly from part. Click on the default template, click on okay, drop that component in, and now we're ready to start adding in some components. So, right here, I have a hole, and if you click on the twirl, down here, it is the counter bore for a three eighth inch socket head cap screw. So, let's go ahead and turn on toolbox and grab some components and drop them in to my assembly. So over here, under the library, you can see here, there's an icon called toolbox, click on that, and if you've never used it before, you're generally going to have to add it in now, so click on that one there.
