- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to be looking at trimming and extending different entities. So in this case here, you can see, we've got seven different segments all coming together on this one pipe right here. In the top, everything looks pretty good. If you click actually on each one of these pieces, you can see this one is actually cutting all the way around on either side, it's actually not being trimmed to this piece here. Same thing, you end up with other problems over here. See, this one actually is going all the way, wrapping around so SolidWorks has a hard time really figuring out how to trim some of these things when you have complex joints like you have in this one right here. So, what we want to do is go over here to trim and extend. My bodies to be trimmed, I want to kind of choose them one at a time, so you can see here, I've got this one here and it's protruding both directions. So I'm going to choose that as the one I want to trim, and I can trim to body. So…
