Using the exercise files

- If you're a premium member of Lynda.com, you have access to the Exercise Files used throughout this title. Go ahead and download the folder to your desktop. Double click on it and then as you see, you open it up, I've got a folder called Templates. I have a Part, Assembly, and Drawing template. They are free to use but you're not required to. Then go ahead and go back, and you can see that each chapter has a corresponding folder. Double click on any of the folders. You can see that each movie also has two corresponding files. For instance 2.1, you have a start file here called 2.1SLDPRT as well as a 2.1-FIN for finish. So a starting file and an ending file for each one of those corresponding movies. If you're a monthly member or annual member of Lynda.com, you don't have access to the Exercise Files, but you can follow along from scratch with your own assets. Now let's get started with SolidWorks Surfacing.
