Using the exercise files

- [Instructor] If you're a premium member of the library, you have access to the exercise files used throughout this course. I recommend downloading those files to your desktop. Go ahead and open up that folder. Inside there you'll see Chapters one through five. Inside there also is a LinkedIn Lib, or library which I've created some library features or parts that you can use in your design if you want to add that library to your design library inside of SOLIDWORKS. Over here also is Templates. These are some of the templates that I'm using throughout the course. You can use these if you want to, or you're welcome to use your own templates. It doesn't really matter. It's just a starting point for parts assemblies as well as drawings. All right, back over here. Looking in each chapter, you'll see Ch1 for chapter number one through five. If you open that up, you'll see a folder for each individual corresponding movie. And if you open up each one of these folders, you'll see the individual parts in there in both the starting configuration as well as the finished configuration and all the finished configurations will be the _FIN. If you look at some of the later movies you'll see, like in chapter five, you'll see we have quite a few files in here and you'll see we also have a .NC file for some of the things we're creating and posting out G-code, as well as different configurations of the assembly. So, you generally would want to open up the assembly or the finished configuration of the assembly for your operations. If you're a monthly member or an annual member of the library, you don't have access to the exercise files, but you can follow along from scratch, using your own assets. Now let's get started with HSMXpress.
