Using the exercise files

- [Tony] If you have access to the exercise files for this course, then you can download them to your desktop and then you'll end up with a folder similar to this. So here are the exercise files. If we open them up, we can see they're split up by chapter and by video. Here's chapter one, and video three, so we click in here, we can see the folder contains the starting state of the model in the folder, begin, and the end state in the folder, end, so here's an example of starting files. You notice it contains both SOLIDWORKS geometry and a Parasolid file. If you have an earlier version than SOLIDWORKS 2018, then you'll need to start all the exercises from the Parasolid geometry, which is version-independent. And here is an example of ending files. They contain the SOLIDWORKS part, and the simulation results, with the extension CWR, so any point in the course, you can pick a chapter or video and you get the right files set up, ready to follow along.
