Using the pattern tools

- [Instructor] In this video, I'm gonna be showing you how to use the pattern command for individual features, as well as individual parts. So the first thing I wanna do is take this cutout here, and pattern this down along this front face. So, to do that, the first thing we need to do is to select that feature. It is the 'Cut-Extrude1', here it is, and let's go ahead and create a pattern. So over here we can choose features, click on linear pattern, choose the direction, and I'm gonna go ahead and just choose the top linear edge, and let's go ahead and type in four inches as our pattern spacing. Instead of two we'd actually like to have four. So let's put four of those across the surface. Everything else looks the same. Click on OK, and now we've added those cuts across our parts. So that makes it a lot easier than individually creating those individually cut features. Now let's go ahead and start a sketch on this front face. So start a sketch, and I'm gonna use a center align. I'm…
