Using patterns and mirrors

- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll be covering patterning and mirroring of individual features as well as individual parts in this assembly. So the first thing I wanna do is create a pattern of this hole right here, which is directly below this part. So I wanna open up that part, click on Open Part, and now we're gonna click on this hole right here and create a linear pattern of it. Now direction number one is gonna be going in this direction right over here, and I'd like a 2.35 spacing. I think we need about five of those. Let's click on, not four, but five's gonna go across the part, and then direction two, let's go ahead and choose this edge right here and make that a one inch spacing, and instead of just one, we wanna go all the way across the part, so see how many we need. All right, and it looks like 12 goes all the way across the part. Click on OK, and we've created that linear pattern of that cut. Now let's head back over to the assembly.
