Welcome

- [Gabriel] Hi, I'm Gabriel Corbett and welcome to SOLIDWORKS: Visualize. SOLIDWORKS recently released a standalone rendering and animation tool called SOLIDWORKS Visualize. This software provides drag-and-drop functionality for applying colors, textures, appearances, and lots of great rendering environments. This software is easy to use and the final renders are simply amazing. If that alone was not cool enough, SOLIDWORKS Visualize also makes the process of creating advanced animations a snap, and the results are awesome! In this course, we'll look at the methods for importing parts and assemblies into the Visualize workspace. From there, we'll drag over materials with color and texture and then apply backgrounds, cameras, and lights. Next, we'll modify and adjust scenes and learn about moving the model, cameras, and environments. We can have multiple cameras and configurations in the software, and I'll show you how to quickly set it all up and get up to speed fast using these simple tools. Finally, we'll wrap up the course by creating a quick animation and then rendering out the final movie. There's a lot to cover but the final results are worth it. Get started today with rendering and animation with the simple-to-use but extremely powerful tool. Now, let's get started with SOLIDWORKS: Visualize.
