Welcome

- [Justin] Hi, I'm Justin Flett, and welcome to SOLIDWORKS PCB. SOLIDWORKS PCB is a powerful design package that helps simplify the design and development of electronics and printed circuit boards. In this course, we'll take a look at the entire process of generating a PCB design project from the ground up. The example PCB that we will be working through in this course is the Arduino LilyPad Simple. All schematics and documentation of this board are open source and can be easily found on the Arduino website. Not only can SOLIDWORKS PCB generate electrical schematics and documents, but also has an immense, continuously growing electrical library with millions of electrical components and symbols pre-built. This means you don't have to worry about building up your own component library and can just jump right into your designs. By the end of this course, we will have a strong foundation of the SOLIDWORKS PCB fundamentals and we'll be able to quickly and efficiently generate some electronics project documents. Now let's get started with SOLIDWORKS PCB.
