Want to create animations?

- [Elise] Welcome. If you're ready to take your skills up a level and create animations that are fun, engaging and just more, dive into my LinkedIn Learning course, Making Movies with SolidWorks. Animations help sell the products you design. It's really a key skill that every designer should have in their toolbox. It makes you more valuable as an employee. Your colleagues in marketing, sales and operations will be thrilled with the animations showing how the products work, as well as how to build or operate the products. I have been creating animations inside of SolidWorks for more than a decade. Companies have used them to encourage investors to put money in their start ups. To overcome the language barrier when moving products from new product introduction to overseas manufacturing. And to replace or augment technical manuals on the company website. I've shown animations I've created during a job interview. Being able to offer that ability makes me stand out as a job candidate and has almost always lead to a job offer. To top it off, once you understand the basic rules and tools used to create SolidWorks animations you're going to find that it's fun and it's easy to create really whiz bang animations in a very short amount of time. This class is going to walk you through several different styles of animations, combining camera views, appearance changes and emotion. Next we're gonna go over some skills you'll need before you get started and then we're gonna walk down that path to making awesome animations.
