- [Instructor] One of the first things you're going to need…to know to do the Weldment exam is…how to create your own custom profiles.…Now, most of the time, if you're using Weldments,…there's a lot of predefined profiles,…so you might not be creating your own profiles…or you've never done it before.…So, we definitely want to sure you're familiar…with how to create your own profile…and how to save it to the file system.…So, let's go ahead and start with a basic profile.…So, I'm going to head up here to Sketch,…start a brand new sketch,…and I'm going to start it right here on the front plane.…Now, it doesn't matter what you really draw…as long as it's one enclosed profile…that you can extrude.…
Think about it like a spaghetti machine,…so anything that's a enclosed boundary,…you just can create that shape…and then what you're going to extrude out…to be that Weldment.…So, in this case,…I'm just going to use a basic corner rectangle…or a center rectangle, in this case here.…So, center rectangle is drawn out,…let's add some radiuses to the corner,…
