From the course: Learning SOLIDWORKS PCB
What you should know
- There are no major prerequisites, as this is an introductory course. However, a general understanding of computers and the Windows Operating System may be beneficial. Having a basic understanding of electrical engineering and PCB design, or a background in electronics could also be beneficial. Now, in order to open and use the exercise files, of course the SOLIDWORKS PCB software will be required. And additionally, SOLIDWORKS knowledge is not required to use SOLIDWORKS PCB, as it is a separate and unique product. SOLIDWORKS PCB is generally designed for electronics, engineering, and design teams, but can also be very useful for electromechanical teams, or anyone else within the project management environment.
