What you should know

- [Instructor] So to follow along with the course, here are a couple of recommendations. You should have a basic familiarity with SOLIDWORKS geometry and engineering concepts. Some familiarity with FEA concepts will also be useful. No Dynamics knowledge is required. You should have SOLIDWORKS Simulation Professional to run the normalized analysis. You'll need SOLIDWORKS Simulation Premium to run the transient response, frequency response, and nonlinear solutions. Version 2018 will be required to open the SOLIDWORKS part files and also the results files. Parasolid geometry files are available in the exercise folders if you don't have version 2018 or later.
