Writing a script that combines appearances, camera views, and movement
- [Instructor] So at this point you've learned how to create an animation that uses appearance changes, special camera views, and movements. So how can we change the appearance of the model in a way that's eye-catching and fun? What poses do we want? What movement do we want? Those are the three questions you should ask yourself when you're writing your script, and remember you want the appearance changes, the poses, and the movement that's going to convey the story that you want to tell. What's your message? So here we've got our jack-in-the-box, again we're going to change the appearance. We can change the color of the dots to punch up the animation, and then we're going to hide one decal and show another decal. So that's one way to change appearance just to make it a little more interesting and keep the viewer's attention. So SolidWorks motion study only allows you to change the appearance of parts, not features. So to work around this, I've created two parts one called…
