- [Instructor] The Normal To command is one of the most useful views inside of SolidWorks. In fact, it's such a useful view that I set up my space bar as a shortcut key for Normal To. But if you don't have it set up as a shortcut key, you can easily access is by just clicking on any one face and you get this little pop-up menu and right over here you can click on Normal To and you notice the model spins around so I'm looking directly normal at it. I also have the same ability here if I click on a face, come over here under Different View Orientation. Normal To is available right there, as well. And there it is. Notice is just rotates the model so you're looking flat at that face. Now we also have the option for a two-click Normal To. So in this case here if I want to click on this face here, but instead of being in this orientation here, I want this face to be up like this. So in that case, you'd choose this surface first,…
