- [Instructor] In case you need it, I've included the output as 0404_output in the exercise files. So, let's take a look. I'm going to start at the very beginning. As I've said already, I have an n of 50, which means 50 observations per condition, which is what we set up for. My difference has a mean of -.605 and the skewness and kurtosis are both pretty close to zero, which looks good. Down in the T-Test Paired Sample Stats, I can see that my protein has a lower mean than my carb. That means that sprint times were faster for the protein group. So, the protein group has a mean of 9.53 with a standard deviation of 0.57, and the carb group has a mean of 10.14 with a standard deviation of 0.39. Remember, we're trying to test whether there is a difference in means between the two groups. In my Paired Samples Test output, I can see the correct arithmetic of protein minus carb.
