Installation prerequisites
- In this section, we're going to talk about installing the .NET Framework. version 3.5 on Windows Server 2012. If you're not running Windows Server 2012, you can merely download the .NET Framework from Microsoft, run the executable file that you download and it will install. But on Server 2012, it's a little bit of a different process. We'll need to go through the Add Features Wizard. To get to the Add Features Wizard, we'll go to server manager and that'll pull up the Dashboard. The second item on the Dashboard is add Roles and Features and that's what we want to do, we want to add a Feature. So I'll click on that. It'll bring up the Add Roles and Features Wizard. The first screen is just an introduction. We'll click Next. Next one asks us if we are trying to do role-based or feature-based or the other option is remote desktop. We want to do Feature-based, so I'll leave the default choice of the first option and click Next. Then it's asking me which server I would like to work with…
