- Continuing on with our look at Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, in the Object Explorer, we have the option to perform a number of administrative task, primarily using the gooey. So if we open up the Tree View of Databases, here is where we would normally see the user databases. I don't have any user databases yet, so they're not listed. But the System Databases are listed. I can open up that, and we'll see the four typical System Databases, master, model, msdb, and tipdb. We can open any of those, and we'll see a listing of the major object types in a database, such as Tables and Views. And we can open up a list of Tables, and we'll see there's no user tables, it's all System Tables right now, and there are quite a number of them. I'll adjust the size of my Object Explorer to make this a little easier to see, and now I can go to any of these tables, right click, and go to Properties, which is usually going to be the very bottom option on the right click menu.
