Understanding service accounts
- [Instructor] The sequel server relies on many services for its operations. In each service has an associated security account that provides permissions on the system for which it is installed. Understanding these service account options is critical to operation and security of your sequel server instance. You configure these accounts during setup but you can also modify them later using the sequel configuration tools. One thing that you can do with your login accounts for these particular services is to choose the same account for all services, even though that's not a recommendation. Really you should have a separate account for each service and that way what you can do is you can configure specific permissions for each service separately rather than the need to worry about configuring specific settings for one account that applies to multiple services.
