Amazon Redshift and S3

- [Instructor] So what we see here is this is Amazon Redshift. We can see this is all in the web browser. And to create a cluster, we're just going to click this, create cluster. You should give it a better name than me. We're going to use it in a free trial. This is all set up. You can put anything you want here. I'm going to use a user name password that I use often. Permissions, this is super important. In order to be able to connect Redshift to our data in S3 we need to allow Redshift access for S3. And this is a role that I created earlier. So we're going to add this role. Nice. This is all good. And boom, we created our cluster that quickly. So while this is happening, it only takes less than a minute to do. And sometimes you need to refresh this page to see it. But while this is happening, we're going to take a quick look at the S3 console. So this is the S3 page. And here you can see the different buckets.…
