Manually aligning X, Y, and Z shifts

- [Instructor] Building on the use of the transformation tools this video will show you techniques to manually align the scans that are shifted on the x, y, or z axis, or all three. What we're going to do is we're going to simulate that this particular scan here is out of alignment. So I'll go ahead and pull that out just by moving this arrow, okay? So there's that. And then I'll go ahead and, maybe I'll go ahead and put it on the z axis as well as far as making that out as well. So we'll just click on it here, grab one of these little things and pull it up a little bit. Okay, so that's completely out. Now what we're going to pretend is that the actual scan registration tools aren't working for us, in that we've tried top view based, we've tried cloud to cloud based, we've tried target based registration. Nothing seems to work. So our last resort is to try to manually align these. Now we're not saying these are out of rotation. That's another video. It's a little more complicated…
