Manually aligning tilted and angled shifts

- [Instructor] Continuing with the use of transformation tools to manually align your scans, this video demonstrates techniques to work with more complex scenarios of scans that are tilted out of rotation in some way. But what I have here is the Beaverton Round data set, and we have the 35 scan and it's tilted on the XY and it might be even rotated a little bit. And the scenario here is we're pretending that the registration tools failed us and they did not correct for this tilt, which actually sometimes happens. And so what you'll do is you'll check one part of the floor like over here, for example, or the ground. And the red scan is high, and then over here it's low. And it can be a little confusing, what's happening. But what really happened here is if we go to properties and I'll just demonstrate this in sort of a visual way, is that the data is actually out of tilt. So we'll take this ax-mee that's easier to see. So you can see the scans actually tilting in one way or another…
