- [Instructor] Sometimes target based top-down and cloud-to-cloud registration tools will not align the scans precisely. In this video, I'll demonstrate how to identify scans that need manual alignment and best practices to accomplish this workflow. What we have here is the Beaverton round data set and I just want to show you some of the interesting ways that we can manually move scans into place. Now this practice actually takes a quite a bit of time, so you don't really want to do this all the time. You want to try to let the software work for you, but sometimes, it just won't pull them together for one reason or another. So let's say we have this scan here, we have these five scans in this cluster that we've decided they're very good and they came together well. And then, this scan here, 35, it just would not work, so I'm going to simulate that that's the case. So we're just going to go here and I'm going to move it out of place a little bit.
