Macros
- [Instructor] In the context of a song, there's often a need to simultaneously control several symph parameters in real time. Serum's macro nobs allow you to do this without making changes to the existing envelope or LFO routing. Let's take a look at how easy this is to set up and use. So Serum has four macros, and they're located right here on the left of the envelope area, and we can also directly assign the Modwheel in the same manner. Now each of these can be used to control one or more parameters, and they'll control practically any Serum symph or effects parameter. Together we can use them to create complex sound changes. Now assigning them is just the same thing as we would do with envelopes and LFOs. On the right side of the macro knob here there's a little tab, and if you click select that, we can drag and drop that on a target parameter, and then once it's assigned, we can adjust the depth of what it's going to do by hovering the mouse over the little blue dial and dragging…
